O Portal de Periódicos do Centro Universitário Adventista de São Paulo (UNASP) foi concebido com o propósito de promover o acesso aberto ao conhecimento científico e estimular a disseminação de pesquisas relevantes nas mais diversas áreas, como educação, saúde, teologia, ciências humanas e sociais aplicadas, entre outras.

Ainda em processo de consolidação, o portal já reúne periódicos científicos que se destacam pela qualidade editorial e pelo compromisso com o rigor acadêmico. As revistas aqui hospedadas adotam práticas editoriais alinhadas aos critérios da CAPES (Qualis) e buscam constante aprimoramento para atender às exigências da comunidade científica nacional e internacional.

  • Journal of Docent Discunt

    The Journal of Docent Discunt is a semestral periodical published by the Profissional Master’s Degrees in Education of Centro Universitário Adventista de São Paulo (Unasp), which has the mission of disseminating cientific knowledge about the area of education, didactics and correlated areas, in order to expand the thinking and educational practice of original works from the area or in direct dialogue with the educational field. The periodical has the purpose of promoting knowledge of education and its nuances, with special emphasis of the lines of research from the master’s program: teacher education and educational managment.

  • Kerygma

    Kerygma, since 2005, is a scholarly open access online journal that publishes interdisciplinary articles in the areas of Science of Religion and Theology.

    Kerygma’s mission is to foster theological and spiritual knowledge, as well as to promote reflection and dialogue on topics relevant to Christian life. With 18 years of existence, it has already published more than 200 scholarly articles written by several researchers specialized in these areas and is indexed in important databases. Furthermore, it is classified by Qualis, a Brazilian official system with the purpose of classifying scientific production, maintained by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), a government agency linked to the Brazilian Ministry of Education.

    Kerygma is published by Brazil Adventist University (UNASP) and its editorial management is carried out through Open Journal Systems – OJS 3, a software developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) research group at the University of British Columbia.

    Articles can be submitted in Portuguese, English and Spanish. As a way of authorship standardization, the Editorial Committee of this scholarly journal recommends the inclusion of the ORCID iD in the act of submission. The ORCID identifier can be obtained free of charge at: https://orcid.org/register. The author should accept the standards for presenting the ORCID iD and include the complete URL, accompanied by the expression “http://”, in his/her registration, right after the e-mail (for example: http://orcid.org/ 0000-0002-1825-0097).

  • Life style

    This journal is published in continuous publication model. This journal also adopts advanced publication in Early Access.

    In order to disseminate works accepted for publication earlier than the standard production and issue release cycles, in January 2022 Lifestyle  Journal has implemented an “Early Access” option. Articles accepted for publication, yet scheduled for release in a forthcoming issue, will be displayed on a specific “Early Access” page so the articles can be read and cited before their scheduled release in a specific issue.

    The papers published as Early Access are final full-text, peer-reviewed, copyedited articles made available to the audience as soon as they are complete, published online before being assigned to a volume and issue of the journal. Early Access articles are considered fully complete, and once posted online are considered to be fully published and no further changes can be made by the authors. If there is an error in a paper published as Early Access, it would need to be corrected with an erratum. Early Access articles are fully citable since they are given a DOI, which allows them to be cited and tracked. After the article is assigned to an issue, the DOI remains the same and can continue to be used to cite the article.
