Continuous Publication and Early Access

The journal adopts a continuous publication model and also provides an Early Access option.

To make accepted works available earlier than the standard production and issue release cycles, since January 2022 the Journal of Interdisciplinary Lifestyle Studies has implemented an Early Access system. Accepted articles that are scheduled for publication in forthcoming issues are displayed on a dedicated Early Access page, allowing them to be read and cited in advance.

Articles published in Early Access are final, full-text, peer-reviewed, and copyedited manuscripts, made available to readers as soon as they are complete, online before being assigned to a specific volume and issue. Once posted in Early Access, these articles are considered fully published and cannot be further changed by the authors. Any necessary corrections must be issued through an erratum.

Early Access articles are fully citable, since they are immediately assigned a DOI, which ensures proper citation and tracking. After the article is allocated to a regular issue, the DOI remains unchanged and continues to be used for citation purposes.
